FWD Association of Chapters Vision Statement

The FWD will provide leadership and assistance to our members and chapters, while maintaining our status as an innovative district, in order to perpetuate barbershop harmony and encourage vocal music in our schools and communities.

FWD Association of Chapters Mission Statement

  1. To provide educational services needed to perpetuate quality singing among choruses and quartets
  2. To strive for excellence and innovation as a leader in society programs, while sharing knowledge and personnel among society units.
  3. To motivate positive affiliations with allied music organizations and groups.
  4. To integrate with national and area education systems to introduce youth and young adults to the society and the barbershop harmony art form.
  5. To develop chapter outreach and growth throughout the district's five state areas.
  6. To support chapter and society projects and programs.
  7. To continue quality programs indigenous to the district.
  8. To encourage and support chapter, chorus, and quartet musical achievements.
  9. To protect the society image through positive publicity and awareness of education, musical, and youth programs.
